WHEN should the volunteers report?  Sunday, September 19, 4:45-6:30 am (dependent on race day assignment) to receive race instructions and race day 'supplies' (i.e. T-shirts, safety vests, race course signs)

WHERE should the volunteers report? 
Steamboat Landing Lakeshore Dr. - Canandaigua. Look for Cathy Kern (Score This!!! Volunteer Coordinator) or Kellie Trybalski (assistant Race Director) and the yellow "Volunteer" banner.

 WHAT if a person hasn't signed up yet, can they still volunteer?
Yes. If you know someone who would like to help out, but hasn't signed up yet, you can simply send their name and e-mail address to Thomas Wilmarth (Thomas.Wilmarth@rochestergeneral.org). We are also more than happy to accept help from anyone who wishes to volunteer on race day...the more, the merrier!

WHAT 'jobs' will volunteers cover? 
Registration, T-shirt distribution, Run course, Bike course, Swim course, Life guards, Transition area, Water stops, Parking lot attendants, Kids' race registration, Kids' race bike, Kids' race run, Kids' race life guards, Post-race food.

WHEN will volunteers receive their assignments? 
Each volunteer will be given their assignment Sunday, September 19. Later next week (Thursday or Friday), WeI will send an e-mail to those who have provided an e-mail address to Linda Miller. We will identify the volunteer area that you'll be assigned to - but please note that we may ask you to assist in an alternate area on race day if the need arises. We will do our very best to accommodate the volunteers' requests that we have received for specific areas!

DO volunteers receive anything besides their assignments and race day 'supplies'?
Yes. Besides their volunteer t-shirt, our gratitude, plus the appreciation of the athletes - each volunteer will receive a ticket for a free lunch immediately following the event.
