0.12 Miles - Inner loop
The one loop swim starts on the natural sand beach on Lake Erie. The course is expected to be a rectangular loop (depending on wind and surface chop). The water temperature is typically in the 60s to low 70s. Wetsuits will be allowed.
The swim is a wave start. Check the website approximately one week before the race for exact wave start times.
After completing the lap and exiting the water there is a short climb up the ramp before you enter transition.
BE SURE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EYEGLASS TABLE LOCATED ON THE BEACH AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RAMP!
7.4 Miles - Inner loop

The running surface of this course is a mix of grass and pavement. Unlike the Sprint and Intermediate courses, all Try-aTri participants will turnaround at the Casino. Refer to the Interactive map to become familiar with the run course. There will be two aid stations approximately 1 mile apart with water and elecrtolyte drink. This is a total of 2 chances during the 2 mile run to hydrate on the course.
